Hey! I'm Deb Michael, LPC. I have lived in Wyoming most of my life. I met my Husband in 1994 while attending Northwest Community College in Powell. We have 5 children and 4 grandchildren. I love spending time with my family whether it is outside camping, skiing, riding bikes, doing yard work, or relaxing. I also love spending time with my 2 canine children, my 6-year-old Weimaraner's.
Most of all, I value people and their individual needs, perspectives and resilience. I also value my private time when I can refuel. I have found that self-care is Invaluable, especially when working with others.
I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of Wyoming and my Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling from Utah State University. I believe one of the most important aspects of therapy is the relationship established between the counselor and they people they are working with. I have been in private practice for the last 15 years. I have experience in patients with trauma, informed care and in an inpatient setting. I worked for 6 years at a Vocational Rehabilitation Agency with people who have disabilities. What I believe makes me a good counselor are my life experiences and each trial I have worked through.. I understand grief and loss because I have experienced much of this in my lifetime. One of the hardest challenges of my life was when my only brother completed suicide. This is my real reason for working in the mental health field. I believe we show our true character by the way we deal with trials and challenges and in the way we reach each individual we come in contact with.
We all have different challenges, trials and needs, each affecting us differently. I treat each person as an individual as I try to meet them where they are in their lives and help them work through the hard parts. I primarily use a person-centered approach, but, find other approaches valuable. I am trained in CBT, EMDR, WISE approach, acceptance and commitment therapy, and Internal Family Systems. I am Gottman Level 2. certified for marriage and family therapy. In addition, I continue to be educated on current trivial issues, culture, LGTBQ+ issues, and any other issues that may arise.

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with eight years of experience in the behavioral health field, including six years specializing in substance abuse treatment as a Certified Addictions Practitioner. For the past two years, I’ve focused on mental health counseling, with a passion for helping people work through trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I’m trained in EMDR and use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy to guide my work. My goal is to create a warm, safe space where clients can explore their emotions, face their challenges, and ultimately reconnect with their authentic selves. I truly believe in the power of healing through understanding, support, and compassion.
My desire to become a therapist stems from my deep passion for helping people overcome adversity and find peace in their lives. As a Christian, I approach my work with a heart full of grace, respect, and openness. I welcome all individuals, regardless of their beliefs or background, and I strive to create a space where everyone feels comfortable and accepted on their journey toward healing.
Outside of therapy, I’m an adventurer at heart. I love traveling to new places, meeting new people, and spending time outdoors—whether it’s camping, hiking, or kayaking. I find that nature offers a unique kind of peace and healing, and I believe it’s an important part of the healing process.

Carl Rogers once said, "The curious paradox is that, when I accept myself as I am, then I can change." If this quote resonates with you, you're not alone. Many of us struggle with the tension between wanting to change and feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve us. Perhaps you're a parent feeling overwhelmed, an adult navigating life transitions, or someone carrying burdens that feel too heavy to bear alone. The beautiful truth is that healing begins not with harsh self-criticism, but with gentle acceptance of where you are right now.
As a Christian counselor who welcomes clients from all backgrounds and belief systems, I believe that every person has an inherent capacity for growth and transformation. My role is to walk alongside you as you discover your own strength and resilience. Using narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and experiential play therapy techniques, I create a safe space where acceptance and change can coexist.
I graduated from Liberty University in May 2024 with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have two years of counseling experience serving clients of all ages, with particular expertise working with adults aged 20-55. I have experience in parenting support, helping parents navigate challenges while building stronger, more connected relationships.
If you're ready to stop fighting against yourself and start embracing the possibility of change, I would be honored to join you on this journey of healing and discovery.

Hi there, I’m Kammi! I earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Wyoming, I have a master's degree in rehabilitation counseling from Utah State University, and I am a certified rehabilitation counselor. I offer mental health counseling to individuals 12 years and older and have experience in treating anxiety, depression, and trauma and stress related disorders. I am trained in EMDR and specialize in working with persons with disabilities and individuals with a variety of cultural backgrounds.
My overall approach to counseling is from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy lens however, I do use various concepts and techniques from other counseling approaches, and the techniques I choose to utilize are based on each person as an individual.
Everyone faces different challenges and trials, just as everyone has different needs. I treat each person as an individual as I try to meet them where they are. It is my experience that my clients know themselves better than anyone else and that they are their greatest asset when it comes to treatment. I believe counseling to be a joint endeavor where my clients and I collaborate to create solutions.
I believe one of the most important aspects of counseling is the relationship established between the counselor and their clients. I believe that having good rapport and building trust is essential for effective counseling. I believe that what makes me a good counselor is my genuine interest in not only helping people, but my interest in understanding people. I have found that when a client feels accepted and listened to, the more they share and reach desired change.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, traveling, and going to concerts.

Hello everyone! My name is Megan Ball, I recently completed my MA in clinical mental health counseling from Adams State University in Colorado, as well as my MS in thanatology from Marian University in Wisconsin, and I received my bachelors in psychology from the University of Wyoming in 2023. My hobbies include tattoo collecting, reading books for fun and not for class, and spending time with my husband and my family.
Prior to finishing school, I was employed in inpatient behavioral health and worked for the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, answering calls from people all over the state. I also volunteer for Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions when I am able. Though I am new to private practice, I am not new to the world of mental health or the world of inpatient care, and it was this work that led me to pursue counseling as a career. I sought counseling for myself to process some of my own personal grief and trauma, and I believe that my experience in various settings has created a unique perspective on grief, loss, death and dying, suicide, and the importance of client-focused and client-centered care. I believe that the most crucial part of counseling is establishing a solid therapeutic relationship with my clients, and I strive to bring my authentic self to each and every session.
I mainly utilize a person-centered therapeutic approach, but I also utilize elements of the feminist and the existentialist approaches as well, depending on the needs of each client. It is my goal to eventually be trained in CBT, DBT, EMDR, and IFS. I am a certified "safe space" for the LGBTQIA+ community; a certified crisis intervention specialist from the American Association of Suicidology; a trained suicide bereavement support group facilitator from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention; a certified Community Health Worker through the University of Wyoming; certified in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, among others. I strive to stay up to date on trainings and current events, and I look forward to serving our community.
